ENERGETIC MORPHOLOGICAL BLOOD TEST (EMB)

Have you ever wanted to do a comprehensive blood test? For example, to see if you have a deficiency in vitamins and minerals? Or are you often tired? Or do you have problems with your intestines or skin and want to know why? Maybe you’ve been experiencing (vague) symptoms for a long time. But you don’t know where they come from?

At The Food Hospital, we offer an Energetic Morphological Blood Test (EMB).
A comprehensive blood test that assesses the blood in 3 different ways.

WHAT IS THE EMB-BLOODTEST?

  1. Basic Hematology

In the first part of the blood test, the amount of substances present in the blood is examined. Does your blood contain enough different cells? What is the amount of hemoglobin, the number of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets? With this test, we look for abnormalities in the cells of both the blood and the bone marrow. For example, this can help detect iron deficiency or inflammation. If any red flags are detected, you will be immediately referred to your GP. Some of the standard values measured include:

  • Platelets (number of blood platelets)
  • Red blood cells (erythrocytes)
  • White blood cells (leukocytes)
  • Hemoglobin (Hb, iron)
  • Hematocrit (Ht)
  • Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV)
  • Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC)
  1. Microscopic Blood Analysis

In microscopic blood analysis, the blood is examined under a microscope. This involves observing the shape of your blood cells, the condition of the cell membranes, the size of the blood cells, blood acidity, and much more. It complements standard blood tests nicely, as it’s a suitable method for assessing aspects of your lifestyle. Subsequently, we collaborate to determine which lifestyle choices could lead to improvement. This could involve increasing consumption of nuts and seeds or incorporating more fatty fish into your diet. Your blood tells you everything you need to know!

       3. Energetic Measurement

The third part involves an energetic measurement. “Everything is energy,” said Einstein. Your energy says everything about your health and emotional well-being. All cells in your body have their own cell-specific energetic value (vibration). We cannot see this vibration, much like the frequency of Wi-Fi. However, this vibration frequency can be measured by a device, and the vibration frequency in every corner of the room can be different.

The vibration frequency of the blood is measured via resonance. Afterward, a comprehensive overview of your physical health becomes visible. Blood contains energetic vibrations/values. Our body indicates on a vibrational level where disturbances are and what is needed to restore balance! This measurement aims to make possible nutrient deficiencies, energetic disturbances, and burdens visible. Because these often underlie your complaints. This energetic measurement provides insight into:

  • Intestinal disturbance
  • Digestive problems
  • Food tolerances: gluten, wheat, pork, cow’s milk, sugar, fructose, lactose
  • Vitamin panel (including B12, vitamin D, etc.)
  • Mineral panel
  • Trace elements panel (such as iodine, copper, etc.)
  • Hormonal disturbances
  • Thyroid problems
  • Sleep disorders
  • Bacterial burden
  • Parasite and fungal burden
  • Viral burden (for example, a virus causing fatigue)
  • Toxic burden (excess toxins in the body)
  • Free radical burden
  • Liver burden

Is the EMB blood test right for you?

The blood analysis can be used for:

  • Fatigue
  • Digestive issues
  • Skin problems (acne, eczema)
  • Sleep problems
  • Concentration problems
  • (Head)aches
  • Heart and vascular problems
  • Joint problems
  • Hair loss / brittle nails
  • Hormonal imbalance (PCOS, menopause, menstrual problems)
  • Desire for pregnancy / fertility / optimal pregnancy / post-pregnancy
  • Weight loss / weight gain
  • Curiosity about your health
  • Curiosity about your vitamin and mineral status
  • For those striving for optimal health!

HOW DOES THE EMB BLOOD ANALYSIS WORK?

The blood test is taken through a finger prick (performed by the dietitian, but you can also do it yourself at home). Using a convenient, small lancet, I collect a few drops of blood from your finger. Then we send the blood to the laboratory. Generally, the results are known within 3 to 4 weeks. Based on these results, I create a suitable nutrition and supplementation plan for you.

COSTS OF THE TEST

The cost is €239 including VAT. These costs also cover the blood test itself (materials and procurement), shipping to the laboratory, and the analysis time in the lab. Approximately 3-4 weeks after the blood test is taken, you will come in for the results and advice. The costs do not include the intake interview and the discussion of the blood test.

The blood test is not covered by health insurance.

ADDED VALUE FOR YOUR HEALTH

This testing method is not a substitute for regular blood tests but provides significant added value if you strive for optimal health. In practice, we find that on average, 85-90% of clients experience improvement and are satisfied with the results achieved.

The supplement advice given is often scientifically researched and supported, such as a B12 supplement for B12 deficiency or iron tablets for low iron levels.
